Bolted Stringer Access Floor Understructure

Low Finished Floor Height System

The Low Finished Floor Height System

Tate's Low Finished Floor Height raised access floor system is an ideal solution for buildings that want the flexibility of a raised floor with underfloor cable management but will not be taking advantage of Underfloor Air Distribution (UFAD). Without the mechanical systems required for UFAD, the underfloor plenum space can be made much lower. This type of raised access floor system is especially beneficial for retrofit projects where the slab-to-slab height is predetermined and a traditional raised floor height is not feasible. Unlike other Low Profile Fixed Height access floors, we use the same panels for any floor height and replace the understructure to accommodate the required height. That means you get our full range of load performance and finish options, no matter the finished floor height. You no longer have to make sacrifices to benefit from a Low Finished Floor Height raised access floor.

Key Product Benefits

  • Compatible with any power distribution system (Snake Tray, Atkore, Legrand, Wiremold and more), providing more options for customization and competitive pricing.
  • Threaded raised floor support pedestals are adjustable to correct uneven slab heights without additional screed or leveling compound. Other Low Profile Fixed Height access floors do not have self-leveling properties.
  • Access to our complete library of factory-laminated finishes, creating a one-to-one size match for easy access to the underfloor plenum.
  • Compatible with our entire range of raised floor panels and load performances, which provides full functionality for any application, including the use of scissor lifts or other equipment on the floor.
  • Easy access to the underfloor plenum to reroute cabling for increased flexibility. The process can be managed by your internal facilities or maintenance team.

Low Finished Floor Height Specification

Tate's Low Finished Floor Height is a viable alternative for an 09 69 33 specification for Low Profile Fixed Height Access Flooring and still provides all of the benefits of a traditional raised access floor, including increased flexibility and adaptability, a reduction in material use, the ability to reuse service distribution materials during reconfiguration and more!
